Cinder, a gifted mechanic, is a cyborg. She’s a second-class citizen with a mysterious past, reviled by her stepmother and blamed for her stepsister’s illness. But when her life becomes intertwined with the handsome Prince Kai’s, she suddenly finds herself at the center of an intergalactic struggle, and a forbidden attraction. Caught between duty and freedom, loyalty and betrayal, she must uncover secrets about her past in order to protect her world’s future.

I was so excited about this book. I have heard so many good things about them I had to check out what the hype about these where . I didn't LOVE this book, I really liked it though. It was good, but for a retelling it didn't really stick to the story of Cinderella much. Don't get me wrong, it had some, just not very many. In the end, I will probably continue reading through the rest of the series as I have heard it does get better. But I didn't love this book.
